SOLUTION

Local policies created for each country and enabled through country plug-ins. All DB connected for workflows and reporting. GLobal org-chart and roles created, followed by unique roles for each geography. Helped the client to migrate data from Excel sheets. Also helped to upload the back dated leave data to ensure full year availability of leave records online.

CHALLENGES

Some global policies and most local policies, hence workflows are geography dependent or the actiona nature dependent. For Example: Appraisal process is a global process, leave approval is local or global process with local policy, time sheet is only local process. Common framework and structure of organization but independent charge of sub-divisions based on country roles etc.

SO, WHAT IS THE CONCEPT BEHIND RAPIDAY

We set out to make an HCM system that would work for all type employees for all types of companies. We examined the issues related to permanent employment versus contract employees. The nuisances of leaves based on contract; technical access denial from de-militarized zones when contractors from from client premises, different set of public holidays in different states for same company, different employment policies in different locations etc.

We also considered the enterprise operational varieties and customization needs. Based on all these we created an architecture that would cover all aspects of an organization's employee engagement program and yet be maintained universally.

Rapiday is a successful endeavour of Global Gravity to deliver an Enterprise Automation Portal for an Integrated Resource Organisation.

  1. Organizations can view Rapiday as a platform for converting existing processes to self-serviced automated solution.

  2. The Architectural Concept is similar to SharePoint but the starting base is at a higher level HCM platform where Organization relationships are mapped and facilitate quick deployment.
